With a slope rating of 135 from the back tees, Eagle Point is accessible to players of all levels of ability. A true championship calibre golf course in the Scottish links tradition, Eagle Point was designed by architect Robert Heaslip, who made the utmost of the course's pre-existing, fully mature ponderosa pine forest. The layout features five small ponds and more than 50 sandtraps. From the most forward of the four available tees, Eagle Point measures in at a very friendly 5315 yards and stretches out to 6762 yards from the championship tees. Many fine amenities at this public course include lessons, rentals, a full-line pro shop, driving range, practice putting/trap, and RV parking . The licensed clubhouse with a patio over-looking the 18th hole is a great place to end the day. |

It is the first golf course in the area to open for the season, and the last to close. Built on gently rolling terrain, MPGC's generous fairways and relatively large greens with subtle undulations provide all levels of golfers with a challenge. From the red tee markers beginners and novices will experience all the excitement associated with the game, while players using the blue tees can expect some challenge from the par threes and a high risk factor on the par fours that are guarded by various hazards and obstacles. All told the Mount Paul Golf course provides a pleasurable golf experience from tee to green. In addition to the golf course, Mount Paul offers a very active range facility with over twenty stalls. As far as instruction is concerned Mount Paul Golf Course has various lesson programs ranging from individual sessions to group clinics taught by certified teaching members of the CPGA. Anglemont Estates is built on rising ground at the base of a sloping mountain. Challenge is found on the course's greens which require accurate tee approaches and putts. Be careful of hard to read undulations on some. The best hole at Anglemont Estates is the uphill 125 yard 5th. With thick trees to the right, a steep gully containing Bloom Creek along the left, and a small green guarded by a bunker on its right, many golfers fail to hit the target. |

The course is a creation of Stan Saari, who designed and built Lacarya and then named it after his wife. ("Lacarya" is the Ukrainian version of the name Lillian.) Recent improvements to the course will give the big hitters a chance to test their skills from the back tees, while play from the forward tees will give anyone a chance at scoring well. Sand, water and treed rough offer hazards that will come into play on most holes. Lacarya boasts well groomed fairways and meticulous greens making for some nice approach shots and putts during your round. The course takes between 11/2 to 2 hours to play nine holes which leaves plenty of time to practise your short game on one of two putting / chipping greens or large practise bunker. New to the course is the RV parking area with 14 powered sites in a secluded wooded area with an additional 50 sites planned in a future development, featuring a full service pull through. |
