Travel information about Okanagan & Shuswap Lake area

Whether you're coming to visit, or live here, this section give you all of the travel information for Okanagan & Shuswap Lake regions of BC. Here's the information about city and area attractions, accommodations, or city maps, as well as information about travelling away from British Columbia.

The Interior of British Columbia has been home to aboriginal peoples for thousands of years, and has been settled by Europeans and others only in the last 200 years. The area has grown dramatically because of resources, initially gold in the North, and then lumber, and for most of this century because of agriculture in the region's fertile soils. The various attractions reflect the unique culture and heritage of the settlers and those who followed.
